A fabulous villa with endless rooms and lovely gardens. Just two of us but would be perfect for more than one couple, group of friends or extended family as 3 separate bedroom areas with terraces. The pool was lovely. The villa is well looked after and has everything you'd need and more. We have visited Pt Del Carmen a few times and love what it offers. This villa is a 10 min walk to the beautiful harbour with its restaurants and slightly longer to the long promenade of restaurants and shops on the sea front. The villa is situated at the top of the resort so bear in mind if walking, it's up hill on the way back! Definitely worth it.

Our stay in Lanzarote was very nice and pleasant.The house is located well, not too far from the sea, a supermarket nearby.The property is partioned broad, the rooms are furnished lovingly.There are many places, where you can enjoy the beautiful garden, pool and the breathtaking view.Althogehter we enjoyed our trip to Lanzarote and the house makes you miss nothing.We´ll come back!
Summer 2024
Just returned from a weeks holiday and sad to leave this lovely
villa. It is even bigger than it appears in photos with plenty of room
for everyone to have their own space. Beautiful views and large pool
which was cleaned twice when we were there.
Susana is lovely and I'm sure would have been invaluable if any issues
had arisen. Everything you need is there can't think of anything that
was missing. We walked or took a taxi into the town there's a taxi
rank outside Hotel Flora a few minutes walk away from villa. Enjoyed
visits to Toro restaurant and Antonio's both nearby. Also enjoyed the
outdoor shower in the master bedroom which was a new experience for
us! Ideal really for our holiday with our 2 adult children. Hope we
can return in the future.
Summer 2024
We ( family of 4 with grown up kids) have stayed at this villa 4
times over the last 15 years and we all absolutely love it and hope to
visit again in the near future. This villa is designed to give each
bedroom its own terrace and privacy to make everyone feel comfortable.
There are wrap around gardens and a bbq area as well as a fantastic
pool area with stunning sea and mountain views. Julia and Christopher
are very welcoming hosts and Susana (the villa manager) is extremely
helpful with any requests. The villa is spotless and has great
facilities including an outside shower area from the en-suite bedroom.
The villa is very spacious and has a lovely internal garden which
floods light into the centre of the villa.
Summer 2024
Having rented many holiday homes I can easily say that Cancela Verde
offered the best views of all. From sunrise to sunset and nighttime
moon and stargazing we were treated to an ever changing visual feast
of sea, landscape and skyscapes. Truly exceptional.The gardens offered
further delights with many an unusual plant and a variety of colourful
flowers. We enjoyed dining in all of the little architectural nooks
and crannies with the sunken barbecue space proving to be a
highlight.The pool was wonderful. We were glad to make use of it in
mid November. Though heated, a few degrees warmer and it would have
been perfect. It was still very enjoyable.The lounge was a great space
for practicing morning yoga and watching movies in the evening. We
particularly liked that there were games. This made it feel very
homely.There were lots of kitchen essentials supplied such as
dishwasher tablets, condiments and a welcome pack with milk, butter,
bread and coffee. We really appreciated these touches.The villa is
situated well for easily walking to local shops, eateries and the
beach. The Karma Cafe was a few minutes walk away and was extremely
good. We also visited Toro Restaurant which was only about a minutes
walk. This had a distinctively authentic Lanzarote feel with local
wines and superb local dishes.The property manager, Susana, went way
above and beyond her duties for us when we were unable to book a taxi
to the airport on our return journey. She drove us to the airport
herself! My partner offered to give her some money for doing it but
she refused and instead said ‘just promise to come back next year for
even longer’!Well, we would love to! The villa will be undergoing a
refurbishment and we are quite excited to see how they make what is
already pretty amazing even better!Thank you again for a wonderful
holiday. It was just what we both needed as I was recovering from
surgery. A home from home in the sunshine with the best views
around.
Winter 2024
As regular visitors to La Cancela Verde we are always delighted to
arrive. The villa was immaculate and Susana gave us a great welcome
and proudly showed us around the changes that had been made since our
last visit. We never tire of the views of the sea and mountains, peace
and quiet. We made the most of the excellent facilities that the villa
has to offer. The pool was lovely and warm and the gardens provided a
lovely splash of colour. We just love the villa as it provides the
perfect break from the demands of daily life. Cannot recommend La
Cancela Verde highly enough. Our only disappointment was that a week
was not long enough, we will be back soon.
Spring 2025
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cancela Verde, delightful property. Plenty of room for everybody, each room with its own private terrace. Our guests loved the villa, it's views and facilities and are looking forward to returning. They appreciated why we are frequent visitors to the villa and were impressed with Lanzarote, being their first visit.Broadband was a bonus enabling us to keep in touch with our worldwide family and share the lovely facilities and views.Enjoyed showering under the sun and stars!!!The villa was spotless, everything we needed was provided.Susana was gem very helpful and made sure the villa matched our expectations. The daily dip in the pool was very refreshing after a day in the hot sun.A quiet oasis close to the main attractions and the wider places of interest in Lanzarote.We cannot wait to return.
Summer 2024
We really loved our week in Cancela Verde. The view across to the
mountains, the sea and Peurto Calero makes you feel immediately
relaxed. The villa is spacious, well equipped and you are beautifully
cared for by Susanna and her team. The pool area is so nice we didn’t
venture too far too often, but it’s a super easy walk into Puerto del
Carmen where you’ll find everything you need for a fantastic Canarian
holiday. Especially recommend the yoagSub near the harbour, the walk
to Calero along the coast and a catamaran from Calero to Papagayo!
Christopher is a great host and all the admin is sooooo easy. Really
generous welcome goodies. Would definitely recommend and hope to
return one day.
Spring 2025
This villa was absolutely stunning. There was so much space for
everyone (5 of us) and the place was spotless upon arrival. The views
were remarkable. Susana the manager was amazing, we requested a fan
with the owners and within the next few hours, Susana showed up with
it. The owners, Julie and Christopher were so helpful and always
replied to any queries with speed, they allowed us a late checkout at
5pm due to a later flight which was extremely considerate. The pool
was perfect and was also cleaned during our stay along with the villa.
The town itself is within a 10 minute walk with so much to offer. The
villa was extremely private with barely any surrounding noise. There
were so many spots to chill in for example the area by the outdoor
stove/bbq and with every room having its own patio area, it was really
perfect. This villa has its own quirk and my family and I would 100%
return in the future. Absolutely outstanding with not one bad word to
say.

First time staying in this beautiful villa, 2 adults, 3 teens. We
loved having so much indoor and outdoor space, bathrooms and terraces
and a lovely big pool. The location is great, close to town and
supermarkets but feels very secluded. The sea and mountain views are
stunning. We had a car and enjoyed a number of meals in nearby Puerto
Calero. We also had excellent food at El Toro and Antonio’s just 2
minutes walk from the villa. We also enjoyed walking the coastal path
between the villa and Puerto Calero. Just a perfect spot and villa.
